A Beautiful Celebration at Bruisyard Country Estate
On a bright and breezy spring day, Natasha and George celebrated their wedding at the stunning Bruisyard Country Estate in Suffolk. It was a day full of love, laughter, and genuine connection – a true reflection of this kind, down-to-earth couple.
I arrived at Bruisyard Hall early in the morning, capturing the peaceful excitement as the day slowly came to life. Tash was getting ready upstairs in the bridal suite, surrounded by her closest friends and family, while George and his groomsmen were downstairs in the games room, sharing laughs and final preparations. With 90 guests due to arrive, there was a beautiful sense of anticipation in the air.
Their ceremony took place at 1pm in the Hall’s beautiful, historic barn, a perfect setting for the intimate and emotional vows they shared. Tash and George had asked me to focus on candid, natural photography – capturing all the real moments as they unfolded – and it was an absolute joy. From tearful smiles to bursts of laughter, every emotion was on show, and it was clear to see just how much love surrounded them.
After the ceremony, we found a quiet moment for their newlywed portraits. With the Suffolk countryside in full bloom, Bruisyard’s gardens made the perfect backdrop. Even though they described themselves as a little camera-shy, Tash and George completely relaxed into the moment – their connection did all the work. Natural, unposed, and full of love – exactly how they wanted their day to feel.
Their wedding breakfast was a sit-down meal in the beautiful barn, with each table thoughtfully named after different wildflowers. In a lovely personal touch, book page scraps were scattered across the tables, bringing a gentle nod to their love of literature and the natural world. It was little details like these that made the day feel so completely “them" – honest, meaningful, and full of heart.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere was filled with warmth – from heartfelt speeches to the quiet glances between the couple when they thought no one was watching. It was clear that not only were Tash and George perfectly matched, but they were also surrounded by friends and family who truly adored them.
Tash and George, thank you for trusting me to capture your incredible day. It was a privilege to photograph such an authentic and love-filled celebration at one of Suffolk’s most beautiful venues.
